My short story:
Currently, I serve as Founder, President and CEO of infraweb, inc., a new kind of web company. We make software and provide services to help companies [ architect | build | scale ] their web services.
Previously, I was Vice President, Technology at Medsite, the physician's home on the internet, where I led the technical vision of the company, as well as product development. Medsite is the eHealthcare leader in Ecommerce, and a rising star in eCommunication and eInformation services. Medsite may enter the public markets sometime in 2000. I ended up there after Medsite acquired the company I ran with a friend of mine, Ashley King, called MrPost.com, a free web email and calendaring community, run under the corporation CreativeAspect Inc.
Previously, I was a co-founder at Cambridge Intelligence Agency, where we developed an Enterprise-class email management, customer service tool (CRM). CIA was later acquired by MSGi (NASDAQ: MSGI) and along with CMG Direct, the original CMGi company, formed a new company under MSGi called WiredEmpire.
I decided to help start CIA after I worked for a year at Allaire Corp., a company who develops web tools(and does a GREAT job at it, I might add).
I started at Allaire after I graduated from Tufts University in Boston, where I majored in Biology and studied Computer Science, Poetry and Art.
